    • Hello all
Decided to sell my two tone 'New' Beetle. All the details are on eBay so here's the link Cheers
    • 5000k miles done,
Trips to the beach, the refuse tip, kayak adventures, day to day work and also weddings. Really happy with it, everyone seems to love the flat paint too. Who said it had to be metallic? Octavia VRS in the dark by T00mm, on Flickr
    • For sale is my 1996 estoril blue e36 m3 evo coupe. I have owned m3's from e30 to e90 and I had always wanted to own an estoril blue m3 evo coupe but never got round to it. In May 2015 I started looking for a car and came across many dubious examples.
But in July a car came up very near and I popped across to look at it and a deal was struck - the car was mechanically good but had a few minor bodywork required, usual e36 m3 rust spots.
However the full history file and recent expenditure gave me confidence. I had the car inspected at my local specialist and he gave it the all clear but spotted the obvious rear arch rust and rotting front wings, all else was good. I have owned this car for over 2 years and have made some improvements whilst maintaining the car as required with no expense spared. I would describe the car as a fast road car and now more track focussed with the bucket seats I have only taken it on track once due to a lack of time and taking my wife's abarth on the track instead - don't ask but I have been worried about binning the m3! So please don't think it's been thrashed around and not looked after, it's stored in an underground car park under a cover and treated like very well. Reason for the sale is that I want to concentrate on my other car projects
Quick run down of the car and recent work.   Engine 141k miles Simota  induction kit Recent valve clearances and oil change using 5w40 Stainless steel exhaust system  Replacement vanos bolts and o rings Arp bolts
Exterior Bodywork is very tidy for age and has no signs of usual rust issues as they have all been sorted. When I bought the car I had the following bodywork done: Genuine BMW front wings replaced and painted due to rust Rear arches / quarters repainted with rust cut out, new arch repair panels welded in and repainted Bonnet repainted  Front and rear bumpers repainted  Engine bay - some cracks had appeared on the turrets, so those were repaired and reinforced and repainted - maybe a bit over the top but it annoyed me - wasn't a structural issue Battery tray repaired New bumper black trims
Smoked indicators Black grills Sills and jacking points all good
        Transmission New gearbox New Clutch
I actually had to swap the gearbox as second gear synchros were showing an annoying and intermittent fault.
I managed to source a box from a breaker in Shrewsbury who is well known and I collected it from him.
Had it installed along with a new clutch.   Suspension KW v3's Coilovers H&r anti rollbars Eibach adjustable camber arms Turner adjustable top mounts - from the US Under brace from convertible Powerflex Poly bushes all round Rtabs replaced recently
All suspension work was completed by Bexleys / BM sport   Wheels and tyres
Staggered Motorsport wheels freshly refurbished by FA wheels Tyres are brand new uni royal rainsports  Front 225 45 17
Rears 245 40 17 Interior Now I really wasn't sure whether I should revert the car back to standard or leave it partially stripped out. I can either keep it in its current guise or revert it to standard (this will add £1k more as I will need to spend a bit of time doing this and obviously the vaders retain a good value in the second hand market)
Current set up Bucket seats and harnesses and partially stripped out  Corbeau club sport driver seat on adjustable runners Passenger seat is a spark rev plus (fia 2020) TRS harnesses - black - fia 2018  Rear seats removed Black leather door cards OMP steering wheel Removable drift works boss for security  Relocated horn
All the other parts of the interior remain so it's still a reasonable place to be.
All the above was professionally fitted by a BTCC race team JVC dvd single din head unit   Or
I can refit the Original grey vader seats, standard steering wheel and seat belts - this will be extra though as outlined. The condition of vaders is fair and could do with a refinish on the drivers bolster.
Points to be aware of Some points to be aware of, all cars have these so just being honest. Some minor corrosion on roof, 2 small blisters about 3mm diameter, haven't got worse in 2 years The paint match on the rear bumper and spoiler is not 100% but hasn't bothered me but a perfectionist wouldn't like this. Headlining is sagging slightly but I have a new one which I may include in the sale It is currently on a private plate but will revert to its original p plate. MOT until November 2017 The car has a mixture of main dealer and specialist history, the most recent being Bexley/Bmsport and Munich power   I have tried to be as honest as I can but welcome offers around £10k as is or £11k with the standard interior.  If someone wants the whole car as is with both interior options, happy to talk as well!
Vaders Thanks for looking, you can pm me or call me on 07799583910 I am based in Kingston, Surrey.
