  1. VRS Estate

    very nice
  2. 91 MK2 Golf Driver 280mm brake conversion

early MK2s are 17mm but the later hubs need 19mm. Just order some for the cabby as they are the same. I only changed mine as I didn't want to fit old stuff
  3. 91 MK2 Golf Driver 280mm brake conversion

How odd, I ordered a pair of 19mm balljoints for th cabby hubs and they fitted straight in to my wishbones
  4. 91 MK2 Golf Driver 280mm brake conversion

if you are going 280 tho I think you'll need mk3 GTi carriers too as cabbies are 256
  5. 91 MK2 Golf Driver 280mm brake conversion

Just put 3.5 cabby brakes on to a base spec mk2 jetta, all bolts up fine as long as you use the 19mm balljoints. The other thing to note is that the brake hoses on the 3.5 are a lot longer, I spent an age looking for some replacements as they are different to MK2. In the end I ordered some 92 Toledo GT ones which arrived the other day but I've not had chance to fit them yet, I am hoping that they will be fine, i'll keep you posted.
  6. Mk3.5 cabriolet - Electric roof relay question

    ha ha ha ha ha.
  7. Mk3.5 cabriolet - Electric roof relay question

Not gonna be of much use to you but I had the same issue on the last one that I broke. I did strip the loom from front to back out of the car so it any of it is of any use to you just holla
  8. Agreed valuation query

Guys, Is it normal practice to ask for an agreed valuation including photos at every renewal? Thought this was only required every 2/3 years!? I am now being told that even though the car has one minimal mileage that I need to pay another £15 on top of my renewal premium to ensure that the agreed valuation is still in force!
  9. FK AK Street Coilovers - any good?

I have had both Joms and FK AKs on my seat. I have heard rumours that they are made in the same factory but I gotta say that I was less than impressed with the AKs compared to the Joms, they lasted a little over a year (15k) and I also found them to be harder.
  10. HIC - Agreed Valuations

Now resolved and I am happy again.
  11. HIC - Agreed Valuations

Gotta says guys, haven't been able to fault the service up until now! Renewal pack came through with agreed valuation at £3,500, asked to increase to £4k, and yet you send through an agreed valuation for £1,400! That may just about buy you the wheels!!!! Does somebody in your valuations team not understand the rarity of these cars in this condition?
  12. No BBS and Airride here =]

165 50 bridgestones are the only ones to put on it
  13. No BBS and Airride here =]

    Don't panic, I had 'Zender's made too ;-)

    Benders for my Zenders
  15. No BBS and Airride here =]

Nice wheel choice. Personally I would have had the logos running around the radius but each to their own. Nice centre caps too, I had two sets made for mine by a mate where he used to work, centres with a twist though.
