  5. Petes Mk3 Scirocco on air

No updates, so have a pic in the field at work... I am in a position where it could come off the road for a few weeks and have all the work done, but I want to sort the interior first so everything can be done at once, can't wait!

Just personally preference to be honest. Plus I am doing a BBK eventually so will probably need to space them then.
  10. Petes Mk3 Scirocco on air

I've got shorter shocks to go on, so should drop it down a decent amount at the back. Need a notch to get the front even too! Yeah man, got all the bits planned for an 18z setup just need to find a set of calipers at a decent price thanks for your help!

  13. Thought I may aswell stick a bit of a build thread up for my scirocco now theres been a little bit of progress! So you may remember my Nimbus Grey Mk4 from 3-4 years ago... Got to a level where I would have had to plough a decent amount of money into it to make it next level (engine conversion, air and a new interior) and I just started a new job at Brands Hatch and had to move away, so decided to sell it. Then had the pleasure of owning a pastel purple Citroen C3 for a couple of months, before buying a black A3 8P, kept that for a year and then bought the Scirocco in Feb '15. It has basically remained standard for a while, while I collected parts. Couple days after I bought it, and the first wash.. IMG_6413 by Peter Walters Race Design, on Flickr First thing I changed was a new private plate, I run a design company called Peter Walters Race Desgign (PWRD) hence the P333WRD plate IMG_6930 by Peter Walters Race Design, on Flickr Bought some audi RS4 wheels, ran them for a little while, they are off for a refurb now, but not sure if I will run them or not. IMG_7557 by Peter Walters Race Design, on Flickr Bought some BLQ’s, waiting for a refurb on these too Untitled by Peter Walters Race Design, on Flickr Then the work started… Scirocco by Peter Walters Race Design, on Flickr Scirocco by Peter Walters Race Design, on Flickr Scirocco by Peter Walters Race Design, on Flickr Scirocco by Peter Walters Race Design, on Flickr Scirocco by Peter Walters Race Design, on Flickr Scirocco by Peter Walters Race Design, on Flickr Scirocco by Peter Walters Race Design, on Flickr Scirocco by Peter Walters Race Design, on Flickr First time she went down! I am planning a full respray sometime soon, potentially a similar colour to the golf… Deciding whether to go with an R body kit of stick with the stock ones. Some special wheels are being searched for Eventually a subtle interior retrim is the plan. Cheers!
  14. The 'sensible' daily - B7 Avant

Awesome! Pretty sure I saw your old Mk4 on the M2 in Kent the other day
  15. I'm looking at getting an air lift V2 kit for my scirocco. I do about 15-20k motorway miles a year, would this be a problem with air ride? What are peoples general experiences?
