  1. BBS RM flat spot on bucket

    I was spinning my wheels on the car today cleaning the area that the dishes bolt down to and noticed one wheel had a flat spot and gave a nice wobble on the rear. Is there anywhere local to heathrow that is recommended to straighten it?

    Ive just finished a conversion in my mk1. I used a full loom from a mk4 with clocks. I removed the alarm unit and now have a few wires for bonnet door and boot. I thought that if I ground these it would tell the dash each one is open. But nothing happens, am I thinking wrongly or did the tuning company I sent it to, to have things turned off turn these sensor off too?

    turns out i needed to use a mk4 slave cylinder too. Also i had other problems in that my gearbox has been lifted up from the shifter

    I just remembered that i did not install this little unit on clutch flud line.....Any ideas on what this is and if it is the problem?

    yep ive tried that too. I recall there being a round circular unit on the hose that ran from cylinder to cylinder. not sure if this is the problem
  14. I have been working on a conversion into my mk1 golf. I have used a mk4 pedal box and a mk3 02A gearbox (New VR6 Clutch/G60 fly). I have bleed the clutch several times but cant seem to win. The slave cylinder is near new and the clutch pedal cylinder was working fine in the mk4 it came from. Its almost as if the clutch pedal isn't being pressed enough. Do i need a longer pushrod or is there a mismatch going on here with the cylinders? Or is it something else completely.
