  1. This one was quite a big deal for me I've been a huge rally fan since I was a kid, and they don't come much cooler than the dominating Lancia Detla. This Integrale HF Turbo has had a relaxing lifestyle for the last 10 or so years, being sat waiting to be driven and collecting dust and minor marks while being stored away. To refresh the car, an Enhancement Detail was chosen. Full safe wash and decontamination, Single stage machine polish, Gtechniq protection for body work and glass. On arrival, it was just dusty with built up grime in the more tricky areas. 20170819_083426 by Richard Lewin, on Flickr 20170819_083440 by Richard Lewin, on Flickr The wheels were cleaned before the embedded brake dust was removed with AF Iron Out, 20170819_090143 by Richard Lewin, on Flickr 2 hits with snow foam - with all rubbers and tight gaps being aggitated on the second foaming. 20170819_092125 by Richard Lewin, on Flickr 20170819_092319 by Richard Lewin, on Flickr There was some adhesive on the bonnet from an old number plate. 2. This fantastic Audi RS3 came in for some durable, long term protection. The car was a recent purchase for the current owner, and sadly littered with wash marring and minor defects. Nothing too drastic, but wanting the best result possible, the owner opted for our Major Enhancement Detail. The process would be as follows, Full safe wash, Chemical decontamination followed by clay bar treatment, 2 stage machine polish, Wheels off upgrade, Ceramic Pro 9H and Light coatings. 4. Revo Tuned Golf GTI

Cheers dude I love the wheels. The colour suits the car so well.
  5. This cool MK7 VW Golf came in for some treatment after the owner saw the MK5 GTI that was detailed and coated with Ceramic Pro http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=395025 This GTI is a little special. It's a development car for Revo Performance and demo car for a Local service and tuning specialist. It has every imaginable Revo upgrade - down to the alloy wheels and brake calipers. 6. Thanks everyone The rear clusters are machine polished with spot pads. These ones were pretty bad so needed a cutting and refining stage to bring them back.
  7. Cheers Thanks dude. It varies from car to car, I'll drop you a message
  8. This tidy looking Golf R came in for a much needed freshen up. The car doesn't get used all that much, but it's survived it's fair share of poor wash techniques. 9. Once all of the cutting stage was complete, the car was then refined with a milder machine polishing stage to inprove the clarity and gloss further. The paintwork was then treated to ODK Wax Eclipse. Wheels to Momentum. Tyres and trims with ODK Attire. Exterior glass with Gtechniq G5. The finished result. Thanks for reading Comments and questions welcomed. Richard.
  10. This nicely modified Audi A5 came in a short while ago after a full respray. The were a few dull areas and some defects that the owner wanted to have removed. The car went through our major Enhancement package (2 stage machine polish) Before being protected with ODK Wax Eclipse and Momentum wheel wax. On arrival. Auto Finesse safe wash process was undertaken. The car was fully cleaned and decontaminated before being assessed for polishing. All photos are after the intial cutting stage and before refinement.
  11. I'm trying to keep up to date with these write ups, but I forget to take photos - delete photos or don't get time to put them together Here's a lovely mk3 Focus RS for you. Finished in gorgeous Frozen White, the car has covered just over 6,500 miles in it's short life time. A few track days and a lot of tar and rubber. The car has had H&R spacers fitted and Eibach springs for a more aggressive look and enhanced driving experience. Onto the car. A full Auto Finesse safe wash and decontamination. Wheels, tyres and arches first. Snow foamed. Lots of fallout to deal with. I really struggled to capture the swirls on this one. You could easily find them in person, but not through a camera Protection of choice for the RS... Gtechniq C1 for the paintwork. Gtechniq C5 for the wheels. Gtechniq G5 for the exterior glass. Ceramic Pro 9H was used to protect the satin black vinyl wrapped roof. The finished car. Out in the sunshine on collection. Thanks for reading Comments and questions welcomed. Richard.
  12. Cheers bud Thanks very much Yeah, I get a fair few in. It depends on the severity of the stone chips as to the action taken. If there are a few chips, they'd be touched in. If the front is blasted, it's more cost effective - and usually a neater finish if it gets sprayed.
  13. This incredible Litchfield tuned RS6 came in for a spruce up. The car had the usual swirls you'd expect, kurbed wheels and a few suspect paint touch ups. The agenda... A Major Enhancement (2 stage machine polish) Ceramic Pro 9H & Light coatings Wheel refurb and coatings Rear light cluster tinted with Candy Black paint. Full safe wash process to kick things off. The wheels only received a light clean as they would be removed later to be refurbished. Straight into polishing - before and afters. The area was wet sanded but the scratches were too deep this time Panel wiped Real lights coated and fitted. A bit blury, but just to show how the true colour shows through. Ceramic Pro 9H and Light for paint protection The wheels were ceramic coated with Ceramic Pro Wheel & Caliper on return from being refurbished. All exterior glass treated with Ceramic Pro Rain. The finished result. (the tape on the tyres was so I put the wheels back in the right place. it was removed) Thanks for reading Any comments or questions welcomed. Richard.
  14. Vauxhall Astra Show Prep

Thanks dude Cheers man It's nice to work on cars like these. Enthusiast owned.
  15. Sorry for the lack of write ups lately. My laptop has started running very slowly so it's making it a long ol' task to upload all the photos and such. I managed to get some pics of this Astra loaded up (only took an hour ) The car was booked in for a freshen up before it goes off to a bunch of events this year. The first would be Performance Vauxhall the weekend after it was collected. The wheels, tyres and arches were dealt with first using Auto Finesse Products. Auto Finesse Avalanche used for the pre-wash. After the 2 bucket wash, the car was chemically decontaminated. Lots of iron fallout all over this one. Once inside, the car was clayed and assessed under different light sources. The car was due to have a single stage Enhancement Detail, but knowing it was going to be entered into a few shows, I opted to cut back a few defects first before going ahead with the single polishing stage. Before. After. 50/50 across panels. Black plastics. Wind deflectors. The tinted film on the rear lights was very tired. A little tidy up before they can be redone. Scratches on the air tank in the boot. Brushed aluminum trims polished. Boot build cleaned up and waxed. The paintwork was protected using ODK Wax Revire - definitely one to try Wheels waxed with ODK Momentum. Trims and tyres with ODK Attire. A final wipe down with ODK Exhibit. Thanks for reading. Comments and questions always welcome. Richard.
