MX5 1998 mk1 1.6 uk monza edition with hardtop

MX5(monza edition)
MK1
1998
5 Speed Manual
1600cc
UK Model
(Power Steering)

Milege - 80,107
Mot - November 1st 2012
Tax - 31st August 2012
Previous owners - 5

I bought it not long ago to use for the summer months with the roof down, with the intention of insuring it on a twin policy insurance with my other vehicle, but i couldnt afford the quotes i was getting (on its own its quite cheap as i have owned one before)

It is a 1998 1.6 uk model (90bhp) 5 speed manual, monza edition with only 400 models ever made, the paint work is very clean and underneath is very solid, all sills and chassis are solid.

It is has USB jvc headunit and decent clifford alarm, aswell as a heated glass hardtop which is included in the sale.

It has had a full respray at some stage to a good standard but recieved damage to the drivers side when i car slid into it when we last had snow, ideally it just needs a new door and wing (could pick them both up for roughly 60/70pounds 2nd hand) and a shallow dent in the rear 1/4 which im sure could be taken as it has not broken the paint.

Slight idle issue, the revs move over approx 500rpm and goes to cut out when the clutch is dipped when you stop, i have spoken to a few people about this and there 99% sure its the idle control valve (approx 30pounds 2nd hand) but apart from that the engine is fine, quiet and runs well with no knocks and bangs, also the transmission is nice and tight as it should.

Hi!
Im selling my MK1 Golf Kamei Bonnet Scoop and i dont really like it on my car! and dont have much room to keep it anywhere!

Took me ages to find one of these! Got this from germany and cost quite abit to buy and get it shipped over.

Ive sat for Hours getting the original black back as it was a yellowy grey colour.

Its in good condition for its age! just a few tiny chips and a scratch! Pics are provided.

Comes with 4 of the six screws. It survived on mine on a motorway trip with just 4 screws!

Bolts thought the existing bonnet vent, No need to drill holes!

Dont see many of these here in the UK.

Im after £100 and can post at the buyers cost.

BMW 323i E36

Make - BMW
Model - 323 E36
Engine - 2.5 cyl
Mileage - 126k (rising due to being a daily)
Price - £1850 ONO

Location - West Yorkshire
Contact phone number - 07966 032809
Contact email address - james_rs125@hotmail.com

General information -

It pains me to do this as this is one of very few cars that i've actually liked and enjoy owning, but my desire to return to racing my motorbike forces the sale. In the time i've owned it there has never been a problem. The engine purrs away asit should for a standard motor, no rattles knocks or smoking. Its a good tight responsive engine that will give a 328 a run for its money.

Exterior is standard non-sunroof and non-spoiler model, with genuine M3 front bumper (not the Sport bumper) and Evo splitter that was freshly painted in February. The paintwork is pretty good for a 14 year old car. There's a stcratch down the passenger door and the front arches have had a touch up pen on them, other than that its good. The arches have been rolled all round and slightly flared at the rear. And all importantly they're solid and not rotten!

The car is sat on 17" E39 Style 32's in staggered fitment. The rears are 9j ET26 on 16mm spacers with 205/40/17's stretched on. The fronts are 8j ET20 on 10mm spacers with 195/40/17's stretched on. Front tyres are brand spanking new and the rears are 4 months old. Sits really well on this set up in my opinion. It has JOM coilovers with the rear adjusters removed. The front stall has the helper springs in place (which helps the ride comfort really well) and has 3/4" of adjustabilty left to go lower if needed.

The car is taxed until the end of October and passed its MOT this week so is MOT'd till May 2013. All that was req'd was front brake pipes relacing and NSF headlight aim adjusting.

I have the original wallet full of handbooks and service stamped by the previous owners. I've done the servicing myself from my time of ownership.

Please excuse dates as took these for someone who wanted them but they've never got back to me...

The cheaper crimp on type (one use only, not re useable like these, and very flimsy) are £5 each on ebay, cheapest I can find. So £5 delivered / each sounds fair for these. I am open to offers for multiple purchases!

Audi A3 Sportback MY09+ rear bumper with OEM FACTORY Audi parking sensors

for sale i've got a facelift A3 8P Sportback (5dr) bumper with factory holes for parking sensors and the sensors themselves still attached. these are the smaller post facelift sensors, not the massive ones on the pre MY09 cars.
i believe it is painted in Condor grey, but this is irrelevant as it's battle scarred and will need repainting. No dents or broken clips though.
this is perfect for someone who wants to upgrade their prefacelift A3. this bumper will accept both the S-Line and regular rear diffusers which are available inexpensively from Audi. (i've got a twin-exhaust S-Line diffuser sitting somewhere without the black honeycomb middle bit but it has some deep gouges and will need repairing and repainting. will list separately soon.)

The parking sensors can be made to work with a fitting kit from Kufatec. and some coding.

The sensors alone are £80 new from Audi. I'm asking £125 collected for the bumper and 4 sensors. So it's even worth it if a couple of your sensors are damaged and need replacing. Will split if everything is purchased at the same time (£20 each for the sensors, £45 for the bumper).
Stacks of history + receipts for work carried out going back 20 odd years.

Removed from my car (90 spec digi mk2 GTI) recently as now surplus to my requirements (ABF swap which uses a different pump). I bought this new last year at a cost of £80 and it's only covered 1000 miles so is near new condition. No markings on the pump but was an OE quality exchange unit. Pulley is not included.

4motion golf v6 Highline - FSH - 3 door - Lambo content.

hi

I've been uming and aring about this but i want a peugeot 205 again so my golf is up for sale.

Its a v6 4motion in silver with a few added bits and bobs.

FULL service history - 99% VW
80k miles.

Usual high line bits; climate, heated leather, rain sensitive wipers etc
modifications -

- retrofitted cruise control
- FULL FIS cluster with Passat foils and rings with a custom EEPROM dump
- Bora flush vents
- Polo stubby Antenna
- Led plate lights
- legal pressed plates and surrounds
- depo black halo front lights - with LED upgraded halos
- Pipercross induction kit
- FK street coilovers - will provide the old suspension if wanted
- will include a bonnet bra too.
- 20mm spacers up back and 10mm up front
- carbon effect front grille and badge
- sharan black back badge
- carbon effect dash over wood
- mk5 gear knob
- trs tow strap

Its just had all 4 front CV gaiters done and the haldex oil changed - this has been done up to date in the service book

the car has been autoglym HD waxed and clay barred frequently and the paint comes up a treat.

The orange Lambo 19" gallardo wheels can be included at the right price - if not it will come on standard V6 alloys with good tread. (LAST PICTURE) - the lambos need a good balance before fitting again.

BAD POINTS

Cracked windscreen - i can get this done on my insurance for 70 quid before sale so will have a new screen
stonechips on the front of the car. - this can be expected for a car this age.

i would love to keep this but its just not for me.

If you want the car with certain bits get in contact, im easy going and can negotiate.

The price with lambo's is £3000 and with the v6 wheels is £2700 - im not willing to drop much further as cars with more mileage and less spec have gone for more.

Audi A2 1.4 2002 95K cheap

Audi a2

10 months mot
No tax but it's only £74.25 for 6 months (can be added if needed at buyers cost)

95,000 miles

1.4 16v

Good little runner with good tyres all round

The only few bad points are as follows:

The windscreen got scratched by the wiper being low (wiper has been replaced) it still passed the mot fine but worse case if you wanted to replace it you could do it through insurance for around £70

The air vents on the dash have a few broken fins but still work ok really common problem on A2's

Body work is a bit taty the worse is the front bumper but I have reflected this in the price

Any questions please ask

2 x tyres changed 2k ago for Toyo Proxies costing £315 - INC receipt.
2 x tyres changed 20k ago for Toyo Proxies costing £340 - INC receipt. (only receipt I can find but they still have 5mm of tread so probably been changed again since then)

2x front have 6.5mm tread all running Toyo Proxies
2x rears have 5mm tread all running Toyo Proxies

The condition of the car is good all round, the most noticeable is the O/S/F bumper moulding has been scraped but then touched in. Obvious stone chips to front bumper and very slight rust coming through on O/S/F wing where it connects to arch liner. Even slightly rust in the same place on the N/S/F wing/sill/arch liner. Will probably need thermostat changing and PAS pump is a little temperamental.

The interior has heated full leather Recaro seats. All heating in the seats works fine, was brilliant for the cold weather. There is slight wear to the bolsters.

Climate Control
Auto Wipers
Remote Central Locking
De-locked

Comes with all the usual locking wheel nuts, jack, tow eye, manuals and spare wheel.

I don't smoke, nor does the previous owner, and I doubt any of the owners have, very fresh car.

No serious modifications only the aftermarket stereo and RS4 Nouvolari style wheels in 17' format with 225/45/17 tyres which are in pretty good condition bar a few minor curbing marks.

Any questions please let me know. I'm sure i've missed bits out.
Stupidly low reserve as well !!

You really need to view this car to appreciate it, the bodywork is VERY clean/straight, I work in a bodyshop and have seen my fair share of cars.

Mk3 Golf GTi

For sale is my Mk3 Golf GTi in dragon green. 5 door, on an R plate. Its done 102600 miles. 12 months MOT, no tax.

I'll start with the issues its got:
Central locking wont work on the key, but works from inside the car.
No stereo.
Its had a front end bump (see pics) no major damage, but the fog light is not working and the grill is ill fitting.
it has various rust spots, mostly picured, but they are on the bonnet, boot lid, front wings, fuel cap surround, passenger rear door near the glass.
Drivers side door mirros is cracked on the back cover.
Odd sized tyres, fronts are 195/50/15's, backs are 205/50/15's, good tread but looks strange (not fitted by me!)
The steering column plastics are off, but i will fit them before the sale.
Its got a clicking noise when reversing, ive had a good look round but cant identify it, its fine going forwards though in all gears.
Boot button is missing, lock barrel is present so boot opens though.

Some good stuff:
New heater matrix - heater is excellent now.
Replaced tired interior for one in better condition, not ripped or torn but drivers bolster is slighly worn.
New back discs, pads, wheel bearing and handbrake cables.
12 months MOT (advisories are pictured)
Its good and solid underneath.
Front discs look fairly new but not had them to bits to check.

Tried to be as honest as i can with it, its not perfect but its MOT'd!

The car can be delivered in South Yorkishire, but its based in Sheffield for viewing.

Im very open to offers as i need to sell, but ill start asking the world at £700.

Mk3 GTI Cloth Interior. Carpets, Seats, Doorcards Etc

Hello. For sale i have a complete interior set from a mk3 gti 3 door.

the seats are in generally good condition bar a tear on the drivers bolster and a few pulls in the stitching on the front seats. The rears are in brilliant condition. All just need a really good clean and they'd look really nice again.

door cards are again in good condition accept a couple of minor nicks here and there which i have photo graphed. all speaker grills except one are in good condition, the one in question has got a slight bit of corrosion but is shown in the picture.

Parcel shelf is like new with no damage and carpet is still nice and fluffy not faded etc.

Carpets are in great condition too. no rips or tears as far as i can see and could come up real nice with a good clean.

I have finally decided to sell the car I have owned the longest in my motoring history! I've had it for 2 and a half years now and its been my run around, as such I've only done around 10k in the time I've had it, in which time its hardly missed a beat bar a little carb icing and a weak battery on the colder mornings..

Its a 3 door small bumpered model with the late spec doors, the best trim level in my opinion for the mk2. The terracotta pearl is a very rare finish, especially in the 3 door guise. Importantly the car is very solid, and has only minor rust and nothing terminal. The underside is solid and hasn't come up whatsoever on the mot either time I've put it through.

The bodywork cleans up well as the pictures show, though as you'd expect from an old car it does have parking dents and dings, and appears to have been painted not to the best standard at some time around the back of the car/rear quarters/arches. As I've said this car should be considered a project for someone who has more time than myself.

Unfortunately last summer a kind transit man with a trailer smashed into the passenger door. I have a replacement door/wing/trims which are ready to be painted and transform the exterior. I've still not received the settlement which is why it hasn't been done. I've been quoted between 350 and 700 for a cheap/high quality job which included blowing in the rear quarter and repairing the previous work. Could do with a fresh rear bumper as well as the current one is a little out of shape.

On the inside I have replaced all the carpets for black gti ones as well as the boot which has a space saver/flat carpet and carpeted turrets. There is an amp and components wired in, as well as sub wiring, though I don't have a headunit and sub to compliment as someone kindly liberated me of them a few months back.

I would love to keep the car and do a engine swap, finish all the bits and bobs, and keep up with the idiots either robbing the stereo or crashing into the door but unfortunately I just don't have the time or money to invest and would prefer someone with the motivation to take it to the next level.

Details:

H reg
Tax 31/6
Mot 17/6
Little service history but its not cost much on the last two mot's and I did a full service when I bought the car.
110k
Price: £600
1.3 5 speed
Will need exhaust rehanging for mot but can't think of anything else. Its done hardly any miles since last year so should fly through otherwise!

Bad points:

Exhaust as above
Door
Temp sender needs doing
Demister doesnt work on the rear screen
Engine bay is pretty grubby
Bonnet catch needs securing with a screwdriver as the spring is broken
Typical marks otherwise and bits and bobs of interior trim missing
Wheels would benefit from a refurb
Crack in the screen but passed mot ok

Good Points:

Great runner/economical/cheap to run
Coils ride really well at this height
Have heckblende (small crack) and smoked front lights
Components sound awesome with a sub and are all ready to go
Uprated pioneer 6x4's
Have 5th coded p slot
Rare colour

***MK5 R32 REAR BUMPER WITH CARBON CENTRE ***

Afternoon all,

I am selling this bumper off Avril's Mk5 as it is going back to OEM look and ready to be sold on in the future for the RS4.

It is a Genuine Candy White R32 MK5 Rear bumper that comes complete and ready to fit. It has a Carbon centre section which has been dipped and has an excellent finish, it also comes with the refecltors so this is is ready to bolt on and go! It has had the lower section smoothed into the bumper and has bene done perfectly. No cracks or damage and has been done over a year ago so anything that would of cracked, would of done by now. Great workmanship.

I DO NOT need a Bumper as a PX, Grande Gti has sold me one already

Standard R32 bumpers are fetching £300+ so this is a fair price. It would cost in the region of £250+300 to have your original one smoothed correctly.

Mk5 Golf 1.6 FSI

Grab a bargain with this great Mk5 Golf, need a quick sale as I'm not home for long. The car is a 2006 '55' plate with 3 former owners. Since owning the car we have lowered it and fitted the wheels, we have also fitted a new CAT and also had a clutch fitted.

The bodywork is good condition but obviously has a few minor marks, the wheels are like new, totally unmarked with matching tyres.

Interior is mint with the only bad point to note being that the head unit won't play CD's (common on these head units but easily replaced).

The car runs great and has been well looked after by us but unfortunately we have no service history.

MOT till Feb 2013

Tax till Sep 2012

This has been a family car and never let us down, however the GF wants a Beetle now so it has to go.

The private plate will be removed when the car is sold.

Mk1 golf driver 1.3, very clean.

Hi there, well where to start, i bought this car last year and ive spent so much money on her getting to where she's at now. shes a 1983 mint shell, no rust and very solid. Been very well looked after and treated like a baby, washed and waxed most weekends and checked over regularly, only done 4k since ive had it. My reason for selling is i need a practical car as i go to uni most days and i dont want to ruin the mk1 and run the miles up on her as i know for a fact one day it will be worth a small fortune. i dont want to sell it but its just not practical. thanks heres a spec list,

clocks show 121k miles. rebuilt engine ( only on 4k miles)

1.3 but has been rebuilt by a well known vw engine rebuilders called t.e.s. in the process of the engine rebuild it was re-bored with new pistons and rings put in place, reground crankshaft, new main bearings, new big end bearings, new gudgeon pins, new flywheel oil seal, new spark plugs, new gaskets, refaced valve seats, new valve guides, new valves, and new hydraulic cam followers, new clutch and cable. like a new engine also very nippy

Respray in sienna red and de badged bootlid.

Small s1 bumpers.

Single headlamp grille.

Leather black front recaro reclining bucket seats.

Gti rear bench

Gti brakes with vented discs (new)

New fuel lines (new)

Goodridge braded hoses

Alcantara trimmed door cards

Weber twin choke dmtl carb with pancake filter.

Staggered ats classics 8j rears x 7j fronts, a few few light curbing marks, hardly noticable

JOM coilovers

Chrome side strips

Sub, amp, 6x9s with ripspeed headunit ( not really into ice)

VDO guages 2 need wiring in but the voltmeter works.

The only fault ive found so far is a flashing oil light and its done it since ive had the car, it just a loose or corroded connection on the clocks and nothing to worry about. Replaced both of the oil pressure switches and checked everything so its deffinately the clocks just havnt got round to looking at it thourughly.

Mot until: November. Taxed until end of May

Due to it being a small block its very very cheap on insurence and very nippy for what it is.

Ive probably missed something out just testing the water atm as i dont really want to sell her .
Shes done just over 201,000 miles, but still going well.

Also for sale is the supercharger kit that I bought to fit to her. But because of the miles, I decided against it.
The kit consists of Vortech VF1 Supercharger, the belts, pully, brackets, and pipes for fitment to the VR6 lump. It also comes with a mapped ECU for the Corrado, another set of injectors and a water cooling system.
The only thing missing from this kit, is an oil feed return pipe that runs from the supercharger back to the sump.

Hi,
Basically I'm looking for a mk1 golf in the Surrey or Hampshire area. I'm ideally looking for a small block (because of the insurance issues as I'm 17) and would like it to be a runner.
I wouldn't mind a 3door, but would prefer to go for a more door .
Thanks.

Schwartz black mk2 16v

Started stripping down a mk2 today so the bits I don't need are up for sale. There will be lots more on the way as it comes out the car. if you are after anything from a mk2 16v in schwartz black get in touch. I'm located just outside Glasgow. Postage can be arranged at buyers cost.

Thanks

Full rainbow interior with rear headrests.

There is some wear on the drivers bolster and a mouse has chewed through the foam on the underside of the rear bench and it really needs a good clean but with a wee bit of elbow grease and a rear foam base it should come up a treat.
