Iv fitted a new cd player and it won't keep it's memory but it's only two plugs and to wires witch are red and white the plugs can only go one way so that much be right but the red and white whires I have no idea they seem to work in every hole ??????

You need 3 cables to have the memory kept
12v constant
Ground

usually, red and yellow cables need to be swapped over.
