Been a member here for a long time and have a thread on my other car here (Golf Mk2 on air) and tought i should make one for the new car too. It all startet in january 2011 when i was looking for a new daily driver. As i work at a VW dealer as a mechanic i toguht it would be a good thing to buy a brand new car. Sat down with a salesperson a speced up the car as i wanted it. It became alot more expencive then i wanted to but, hey, you only live once

Black 2.0TDI R-line
R-line interior and exterior
Bi-xenon
Led tailights
Parkingassistant with reverse camera
Bluetooth
Colour FIS
RCD510 (later upgraded to RNS510)
18" Mallory wheels
Tinted windows

And then the wait started. Ordered the car in January and got it at the end of July.
Bad picture but this is the car when i got it


Then i got H&R monotube and Miro STP-3 8,5x19 installed


Installed R -LED taillights. original on the left and R on the right


Also decided to paint some parts on the outside and inside

It was then time for the winter setup. As i wanted to something different i decided to sticker bomb the original 18" mallory wheels and put winter tires on them


I then wanted to do something about the frontend and decided to go with the GTI edition35 bumper. But it wast that easy. Because my car have a aux heater the right foglight would hit the washer fluid tank.

So i started to cut away the parts that where in the way

and finally the bumper would fit




waited until the end of winter to get the bumper on and it looked amazing. Also bought Dorbitz Design middle grille and made my own grilles around the foglights

Always tought the car was to high and after helping a friend with his airride setup (Amplifier on here) i decided to go with air my self
Went for Airlift performance rear bags and Airlift Slamkit in the front, along with Accuair e-level










Had earlier installed GTI exhaust and customized the diffuser bit i wanted bigger pipes, so i bought some Milltek tails and welded a new exhaust




The quest for new wheels started to, and after alot of talking and thinking i bought some real BBS LM 8,5x18et30 and 9,5x18et32 polished






I also took a trip to Austria and Worthersee


Painted two of the wheels in blue plasti dip too

Then got tired of the black and wanted something really special, so after a time on the net looking for a colour, i found this one






Wanted to wrap the car my self and with the help from Amplifier we got started










Took the wheels of for a shine and painted the blue wheels in black plasti dip instead




you can say alot about air but its really practical

Im in the middle of restoring and changing up the BBS again so i borrowed some 20" wheels from a friend





and that is pretty much where the car is now. Sorry for the long thread but thanks for reading it and sorry for the language, as i am norwegian
