Kenwood kdc-ps9590r

Hi,
I have had this Kenwood stereo from new and many years ago it stopped working, it's done it before and I believe it's the ribbon for the mask system. It's been in the loft for years and I want to get it working again for the Corrado.
Can you repair it please and I also need the power / speaker plug for the back.

I was going to get some C5 for my RS's to do over winter but then read about the cquartz as an alternative.

Any recomendations? is it worth paying the extra for C5 bearing in mind it doesnt get used in winter an the car does 5k miles a year at the most.

Mk5 Golf - paint correction

I've been detailing my Mk5 Golf and the bonnet was particularly bad.

I used an orange Hex-logic pad with Menzerna PO85 RD 3.02 polish via a DA, correction was good but I still have a few scratches present.

If I went up to a Yellow Hex-logic pad with the same polish is this likely to remove them? Or any other recommendations please?
