Just discovered this build mainly because i prefer mk2s, BUT this is absolutely fantastic! a proper build, rust sorted properly, everything new and that engine set up will be a screamer. very envious those AT Power itbs are so much nicer than the ugly old jenvies.

Are these there universal DTH as i cant see them on there website?

Cheers

Adam

Hi buddy, glad you like it, it's all slowly coming together now! With regards to the AT Power throttle bodies they were a direct order for an ABF engine meaning no addition inlet needed to be purchased as it is in essence one unit. Hope this helps! 😎

Cheers,
Matt

Tonight a good friend and I began re-trimming the rear seats starting with the bench cushion with my design...

What are people thoughts as i'm unsure whether to re-trim front seat same as below or to invest in a nice set of buckets?

A few pictures of what was involved.

Old pattern copying...

Looking awesome mate! When you hoping to have it on the road?

Hi Andy! Timing is such a hard thing as I'm going on the basis it'll be done when it's done, it's now three years in but at most will hopefully be a four year build providing I keep throwing money into the pit!

Been part of a number of car forums, and got to say this is the best build thread i've seen in a long time!! Well done sir!

And your painting again! jheeze!

I want to do a mk2 and was going to strip it all back etc, but after seeing what you have done, I quite clearly had planned a half arsed job! I better pull my socks up!

Whats wrong with the paint specifically that you aint happy with?

Cheers for the love man, the paint the first two times just wasn't good enough, dirt inclusion, runs, filler not flatted, to the normal eye though it would of been fine hahaa! 🙈
