beautiful build! really like the effort you have put into this (kind of reminds me of my mk1 build) I'm intrigued to know why its had 3 resprays..

Cheers ,ate, the reason it went through 3 resprays was simply it just wasn't good enough, with runs, dirt inclusion, filler etc. it wasn't good, it is now though :D

The second half to 2015 has been a slow one in terms of progress. With a new girlfriend and a first house purchase in the sausage machine both spare time and money has diminished some what. As you will see from the images below all is not lost and we are now in the most exciting final few months of the build, the main remaining items going into 2016 will be: Coolant, Wiring, Fuel Lines, Exhaust, Mapping, Interior / Exterior trim and last but not least the wheel choice!

I hope you like the progress finishing off for 2015...

Coolant Header Tank - Forge Motorsport

OMEX 600 Series ECU with Custom CFRP Holder

Mocal oil cooler with thermostat

Oil cooler fittings, whole engine using SAMCO coolant pipes

Pro Alloy Custom Radiator

Pro Alloy Rad with slim line fans

Just discovered this build mainly because i prefer mk2s, BUT this is absolutely fantastic! a proper build, rust sorted properly, everything new and that engine set up will be a screamer. very envious those AT Power itbs are so much nicer than the ugly old jenvies.

Are these there universal DTH as i cant see them on there website?

Hi buddy, glad you like it, it's all slowly coming together now! With regards to the AT Power throttle bodies they were a direct order for an ABF engine meaning no addition inlet needed to be purchased as it is in essence one unit. Hope this helps! 😎
