That is one of the best 'more door' Mk3's ive seen.

I love the 5drs in the Mk3,

People should do more with them as i think its one of the few Golf Shapes that pulls the extra rear doors off.

Spot on - look forward to more updates B)

Cheers folks, yes got the front bag sorted, it was my own fault it happened, running too much camber pushing bag against inner wing rubbed a hole in it!! Camber adjusted and its all sorted now.

Wheels are 17" BBS RC042. going for 16's though

Looks quality that mate, nice colour too.

Just one question tho, the bumpers on mine are apparantly in two pieces, did yours need plasic welding, or was filler just used??

They were drilled throughout along trim line, indicator holes were welded as was recess then filled.

After selling the BBS 17s decided 16's were they way to go, My mk2 vr6 is five stud so gave me a chance to try the 9x16's before ordering the new ones making sure offset ok. These are 1 piece modernlines rears 9's and front 7.5. So trial fitted the nines on one side of the motor and result, rears clear with 215/40 and new wheels running 205/40 so should be mint, fronts will need a slight flare of the arch and a wee bit camber but think these will go no probs...

look small as still black but just off to go to powder coaters for a fresh coat of silver.. and will then go back on mk2.

So it will be a long 14 days waiting on rims and running poop a3 pepperpots

You can get 9x16 Modernlines on all round,

I had them on mine, Et25 front and Et15 rear,

I rolled my rear arches myself, fronts were fine.
