FAO: Child in the UP.

Recommended Posts

I doubt he's on here, but the behaviour of the child driving his gran's Up at the weekend was unacceptable.  I still fail to see why people were bigging him up, he could have quite easily killed his mate.

Not even that, but he came scarily close to our campsite and headed directly towards another.

The security managed the scene terribly.

Your Facebook team had said that was removed from site, but he wasn't.  I fail to see why he wasn't removed and not allowed back on site.

I saw the video on youtube before it was taken down, when I came up on sunday for the day I was in the old quiet camping area with friends that had been there all weekend. There was a drifter in a bmw and 200sx drifting and donuting around really annoying people. Some friends of theirs left and basically set fire to the BBQ and through the small gas canisters on the fire causing loud bangs. The Security came up looked reversed and left. Seems like the camping area was getting destroyed by a bunch of idiots.

I didn't go last year, but have been going for the last 10 yrs or so, the security seemed a different lot to 2016 and less organised. I got to the point I just didn't wanna stay any longer and left at 2pm my wife didn't feel safe with the drifters and other campers were getting annoyed trying to have a drink/food and getting covered in dust. They reminded me of when I was 12 and loved doing a big skid lmao, I bet half of em couldn't even drift on anything but a field.

I try and put as much money into my car and there's no way I would treat it the way they were. I saw loads of cars covered in dust so there was obviously a lot of it going on, why the security weren't doing their jobs I dunno. I think the show organisers should seriously look at who polices their show. I heard talk of all cars being parked up in the carpark and none in the camp area, not a bad idea but could be harsh on the sensible people there.

There was a girl last year hit in the face when some passer-by had thrown a can in their fire.  Took out the gazebo.

Put bluntly, other like minded fliping morons thinking its cool to be an inconsiderate cockeral womble. That's all it boils down to. The same bunch of bell ends that use words like "lit" "doing bits" and "killing it" with their dog poo Polo's, roller paint and sick styling. They're so famous they have to have a personal and car account with the bio header "Public figure."
Public bell end. I'd love to see how these clowns act in front of their mum.

It seems the UK car kids are spreading like the plague, it won't be long before they ruin European shows also.

Frankly, they can all go and die in a ball of a fire caused by their own stupidity and followers.

sounds like e38 has turned into bug jam! basically a rave up in a field rather than a car show.

the only way this will ever be stopped is to remove everybody's 'privilege' to drive there car in the camp site unless its to either leave the show ground/camp site for the weekend (not to return) or unless you are moving your car to or from the show ground on the saturday/sunday morning or evening.

once in and parked that's it for the weekend.

shame to read this year after year

I was just disappointed at the severe lack of power/order.

While I get that they are not the police and ultimately do not have the power to remove keys - they should be stern enough to escort these people off the site and do not allow them to return.

A static thing would be fine, but waking up the morning knowing you won't be able to walk to the toilet in time for a hangover poo isn't nice.  I drive.  But once we're back from pooing, the car doesn't move all day.  The show field was cracking but the racing around on grass isn't on in my opinion.

He definitely wasn't kicked out because the white Up! and the green polo(?) estate with the nandos sign on the roof were both parked by me in the main car park on the Sunday afternoon.

On the other hand the lad in the drift car, looked like a PS13, did get kicked out, security and one of the older E38 guys pulled up to him on one of the little buggy things and I could hear them shouting that he was banned for life from all E38 events.

It's an attitude problem really, so may entitled little chodes these days thinking they're all that. This was my 10th time going but the show wasn't as good as previous for me this year and next year I think I'll just go for the Sunday, £80 for two people for Sat and Sun is mental

You should have gone to VW Action instead.... that’s a proper show.

I've never had an issue at bug jam. Sure it's full of the flower power brigade but it always seems well organised. It's a bit like carry on camping at a drag strip!

The sh!t left people leave behind in the camping areas is unacceptable though.

Same, Bugjam isn’t at all like this sounds.

Apart from the rave tent maybe. :)

All of this really.

Was parked up literally next to us during Sunday.  Not sure why he was let in.

PS13 boy was good in my opinion; kept it slow, safe and while I don't think it's a good idea to be smashing round a campsite doing drifts, atleast he could do it.  Same as the 350Z.  Boy wasn't too bad.

Not sure why the price went up this year either.  £45 for a weekend is redic.  Toilets were still blocked, security were the same wenks as last year - my burd and my best mate had it out with them (you'll see them in the video, boy with the colourful wife beater) and the burd arguing with the H addict.

Don't the same complaints get made year on year now ? And nothing is ever done about it ?

It's the reason why I never bother going to this show anymore. It used to be one of the greats, but sadly is now one to avoid unless your idea of having a good time is getting smashed and doing donuts and drifts in a field.

Until somebody get's killed or seriously injured, I don't see it changing.

Also, anyone got any links to this vid ? Must be hosting elsewhere also.

I don’t bother with camping at all for this show now,

its simply become a venue for kids to get drugged up, pissed and go for a rave, there should be some kind of vetting at the main gate for cars arriving for camping, let’s be honest, if 3 or 4 people turn up in a Honda Civic or a Nissan 350z, then it’s safe to say there probably not here for the same show as everyone else, more likely that there here because their mate said it would be awesome to get “lit” in the rave tent.

I got there early friday, and the amount of standard fiestas, corsas, civics etc turning up was crazy. Should charge more for non VAG like bugjam used to? I know there's still knobs in VWs, but it would certainly cut out a lot of the people turning up with the wrong intentions.

I remember the year the organisers announced there would be no 'rave tent' (was actually one) There was a lot less knobheads around.

Agree there should be a no movement in the campsite between certain times. Its mental what goes on. Considering the amount of people and those driving/drifting around have probably been drinking since they arrived.

I love this show, but would never want to leave my car in the bottom field, I used to camp down there all the time in the van. standard practice of the minority ruining it for the majority!. From what I hear, big changes are coming and I can't wait to see the disappointment on there faces when they can't just drive about in their chav wagons!

This is just one of the reasons I don't make the effort to go, even just for the Sunday..

I know everyone has their own taste when it comes to modifying cars etc. But last time I went there was a fully standard 6n2 5 door in blue with some generic scene stickers on right in the middle of the show field with the owners just sat in it smoking - first come first serve and they will have paid the extra £5..but still the standard has dropped severely.

Then there's the people who when sat queuing up to go in revving their engines of the red line..it's not Fast and the Furious.

I haven't been to any of the shows in about 4 years now, pretty much for the reasons stated above.

I actually think ED38 have lost control of it completely.
