scratcher Report post Posted Sunday at 07:46 PM This MK2 Audi TT came in for some TLC after the owner noticed swirls and bits appearing after washing the car. The owner picked the car up before Christmas and all looked well. As the filler polished faded away the true finish became evident. The car is finished in Deep Sea Blue - a colour I hadn't seen before. It's a fantastic pearlescent paint but was being robbed by swirls and scratches. Unfortunately, the bonnet had been painted fairly poorly - uneven mottled paint, strike through on the edges, stone chip dips and silicone traces - this was brought up as well as I could but will be repainted in the near future. The order of the detail. Wheels, tyres and arches cleaned. Full Auto Finesse safe wash process. Decontamination - tar removal, iron fallout removal, clay bar and IPA wipedown. Multi stage machine polish. ODK Revere wax applied to the paintwork. System X Glass applied to exterior glass. Interior cleaned and leather treated with Auto Finesse Hide.
